Since its creation in 1990 as Facilities Software International, and following a Management Buy Out by the Operational Directors in 2002, the company continues to be a market leader in Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), under the name of FSI (FM Solutions) Limited.

The growth and success of FSI are built on a firm foundation of technical expertise, both in IT and modern facilities management.

FSI was conceived as a company to supply building services and facilities management software. The value of IT as a vital tool in the facilities management toolbox was clear to see early on, and FSI was one of the first to market a user-friendly Windows based package, with wider functionality than existing DOS based software. As the CAFM market grew and facilities management evolved in technical sophistication, the demand increased for full IT solutions to match the needs of clients and facilities managers across the UK (and the world).
